Hawkeye Rifle and Pistol Club if offering a 2nd Introduction to Firearms - Handguns Class on Saturday, September 16th at 1:00 PM. Location is the Indoor Range. The class runs approx. 3 hours and will have some shooting of handguns at the end of the class. Cost is $10.00 per person.

If you do not have a handgun, we will have some .22 caliber handguns to use. You will have to pay for the ammo we provide. You can use your own handgun. Please bring around 50 rounds for that handgun. Also bring along the handgun manual so you can see some of items we talk about. Handguns need to be unloaded and cased when you arrive at the range. You will be only allowed to use one handgun.

You will need eye and hearing protection. We can provide these items if you do not have them.

We will allow youth starting at the age of 12, but they will have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian up to the age of 17 years old.

Class size is limited and the class we had in March filled up quickly and we had to turn away people.
